🔙 In the Round of 16, @magufanafc found themselves 3–0 down against. But the Greeks refused to give up, fought all the way back and sent the game to Socca penalties!
🎯 In the shootout, @eins.ev kept their cool and held their nerve to book their place in the quartefinals.

Afghanistan 🇦🇫 is officially a member of the International SOCCA Federation! 🤩🌍
The country was previously granted provisional membership, enabling it to compete at the 2026 SOCCA World Cup in Essen. ⚽🏆 With full membership now confirmed, a long-term partnership between @soccaafghanistan and the ISF begins. 🤝
Welcome to the SOCCA community, Afghanistan! 🇦🇫🌍
#ISF #InternationalSoccaFederation #Socca #SoccaAfghanistan
Christoph Köchy, President of the International SOCCA Federation, welcomes the membership:
“We have greatly valued working with Harez Habib and his newly founded SOCCA Afghanistan Federation from the very first moment. 🤝
The professionalism, the speed and what Harez and his team have accomplished, both on and off the pitch, are exactly what we look for in our members. ⚽️
For all of us, it was clear that Afghanistan should become a member of the ISF. 🇦🇫”

Harez Habib, President of the Afghan SOCCA Federation, said:
“I never dared to dream that I would take part in a World Cup with an Afghan national team and, for example, celebrate a historic victory over Italy. 🇦🇫🏆
Simply taking part in Essen was already a dream. ✨ At the same time, we felt that the foundations and support for SOCCA in Afghanistan, and especially within the Afghan community outside the country, are there. 🤝🌍
That motivates me and our coach, Yusuf Barak, to keep going and continue developing the sport for our country. 💪⚽️🇦🇫”
